Each reef crawler sculpture is sculpted entirely by hand—no molds, just a generous mound of clay and lots of patience. I let the material lead: sometimes it is ready to transform, sometimes it resists and asks for a different approach. When clay and hand find their rhythm, the art is formed. My aim is to capture the feeling of an octopus gliding—its silent, elegant, effortless passage as it navigates a world in constant motion.
